Talk title: Non-cationic bionanomaterials for delivery to challenging diseased sites

Jonathan completed his BS/MS at Stanford and PhD at Caltech, all degrees in chemical engineering. He was a Croucher postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern. After joining CUHK as assistant professor in 2013, he became associate professor in 2019 and professor in 2024. He inaugurated the first nanomedicine lab in Hong Kong and co-founded the first biomedical engineering department in Hong Kong (at CUHK). He received a 2016 Croucher Innovation Award, 2023/24 RGC Research Fellow, made finalist of 2023 ACS Nano Impact Award, was elected to Hong Kong Young Academy of Sciences in 2024, and received a 2024/25 Hong Kong Engineering Science and Technology Award. He was member-at-large of AIChE Nanoscale Science & Engineering Forum and Communications Chair of CRS BBD Focus Group.
