    • to develop in-depth know-how and skills in monitoring and evaluating research

    • to share your experience in order to develop best practices and guide relay people in their developments

Training sessions

Available in French

In consultation with its consultant, each institution can determine its own training program, for progressive learning according to its needs and priorities, throughout the subscription to the solution.

These sessions can be adjusted to suit the target audience, e.g. lecturers, librarians and documentalists, members of the research department, etc.

The sessions focus on themes that are important to you. For example, they may cover searches in Scopus, research visibility, relevant indicators for monitoring the impact of publications, monitoring trends, the visibility of your institution and its laboratories, etc. These training courses are subject to change as the functionality of the solutions develops.

If you are interested in organising such sessions, please contact your Customer Success Manager.

News and articles

Elsevier took part in Think Education 2024: Performance in higher education and research: a paradigm shift?

Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are revolutionizing the scientific landscape, reshaping information systems and knowledge creation tools. Researchers have been quick to adapt, embracing generative AI (GenAI), which promises to rapidly translate scientific discoveries into practical solutions. In the short term, GenAI models ingest large quantities of data to produce scientific papers, grant proposals and codes, demonstrating their transformative potential. However, the OECD notes that the potential of AI in science is not being fully exploited, and calls on policymakers to deepen its integration. Growing awareness of the risks associated with GenAI, including inaccuracies, misinterpretations and concerns about relevance to all research activities, also prompts the development of guidelines and policies to set limits to it, and ensure an approach geared towards beneficial outcomes.

Research mobilises to meet the challenge of a zero-carbon future

Article in Campus Matin

Research into clean energy is growing fast, rising from 1% of all publications in 2001 to 5% in 2020. But this progress must not mask the challenges that lie ahead. Elsevier's new report, "Pathways to Net Zero", aims to provide a better understanding of clean energy research and innovation and how they are contributing to achieving a "net zero" future.
